New Wazoo Doctor
Things are going well. My husband gave his best *ahem* 'effort' yet yesterday, and we got through the IUI great. My Dr. has a new partner that started September 1st, and I hadn't met him until he did my IUI yesterday. Hell of a way to meet a guy: "Hi, how are you?" "Great, nice to meet you, now I'm gonna stick something up your wazoo!" Not that I haven't had guys try that on me before, but I've never acquiesced quite so easily. He's fresh out of residency, and I liked him, but he wasn't quite as smooth as my Dr. I may have mentioned before that they have to force a little air out to make sure all the sample is out of the tube, and that makes you cramp. I think he must have used a little more air than was necessary because before it only hurt for 15-20 minutes and yesterday I cramped for a solid hour. My uterus was like "Whoa, hold up. I said HOLD THE FUCK UP! This is an ANAEROBIC ENVIRONMENT you SONOFABITCH!" She talked like that for a while, then settled down nicely. The good thing about IUI's is that once they quit hurting there doesn't seem to be any residual after-effect (very unlike tequila, I must say). So, 3 eggs, 107 million mobile sperm, a hope and a prayer. Here's hoping at least 3 of those things get together.
