Holy Batman, people! I thought I had the hard part done. I mean, three years of trying to get pregnant, and I'm thinking this 9 short months are going to be cake. (Notice I didn't include the big event at the end in that statement.)
The problem now is all the decisions. Do you want an AFP test? Do you want to know the sex at the sonogram? How are you going to decorate the nursery? PEOPLE, COME ON. THE DOCTORS CAN'T EVEN AGREE ON A DUE DATE WHEN THEY KNOW THE EXACT MINUTE OF INSEMINATION. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS STUFF?
Well, ok, I do know about the nursery, but the rest of it? I'd take any advice anybody has to give! I will say that the hubby and I are leaning towards not finding out the sex of the baby, but we want to see the sonogram, and as versed as I am in looking at sonograms, it's just possible that we'll find out accidentally. If that happens, what do we do? Aw, hell, I know us. There's no way we could keep our mouths shut. Especially since THREE of my good friends are pregnant right now, so you can just imagine how much pregnancy and babies dominate the conversation these days.
I also have to say this much: These decisions? Are the happiest and probably least important decisions I could possibly be worrying about right now. Let's just not discuss possible boy's names right now, mmmkay?
